This little diagram shows the DNA of everyone who is committed to “Switching on the Light” in Portugal and the world. Not the DNA of “pastors” and “missionaries”, but all Christians who are “a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” (I Peter 2:9)
Based on this text and others, we believe that every Christian is by nature called to be a missionary, equipped by the Holy Spirit, to be a witness of Jesus Christ, both in their close circle of friends and family, and further afield in Portugal and beyond, even to the ends of the earth! With this in mind, the Missão Global 2015 project invites all evangelical Christians to shine the light of Christ everywhere!
