A Assessoria de Missões da Aliança Evangélica Portuguesa - AMIS/AEP – desenvolve o projecto Missão Global 2015 já há mais de 5 anos. Um excelente trabalho nas áreas de Visão e Estratégia, Oração e Pesquisa foi realizado com a intenção de alcançar os seus objectivos básicos, a seguir relembrados.
O Projecto Missão Global 2015 consiste em mobilizar o Corpo de Cristo em Portugal, e não só, num esforço determinado e cooperativo, buscando cumprir a Grande Comissão dada por Jesus Cristo em Mateus 28:18-20, respeitando-se a individualidade de cada igreja cooperante e de cada denominação participante.
Nesse sentido, o objectivo geral do Projecto Missão Global 2015 é incentivar e apoiar cada denominação e cada igreja filiada na Aliança Evangélica Portuguesa, a desenvolver os seus alvos e as suas estratégias missionárias apropriadas para cada contexto e realidade, das mais diferentes maneiras.
O alvo maior é o de juntos participarmos da expansão do Reino de Deus, não apenas em Portugal mas também a partir de Portugal para todas as nações.
O Projecto Missão Global 2015 compreende duas vertentes principais: Portugal 2015 e Mundo 2015.
Na vertente nacional, com a bênção de Deus, a AMIS continuará a servir a comunidade evangélica para a efectivação da visão do Portugal 2015, ou seja: “Uma Igreja acessível para todas as pessoas, em todo o país, nesta geração!”
Na vertente transcultural, com a bênção de Deus, a AMIS continuará a servir a comunidade evangélica para a efectivação da visão do Mundo 2015, ou seja: “Queremos ver Portugal como força missionária transcultural entre os povos não alcançados!”
Cabe acrescentar que também podemos alcançar os portugueses fora de Portugal (Portugueses no Mundo 2015) e os diferentes povos dentro de Portugal (O Mundo em Portugal 2015). São diferentes maneiras de fazer missões a ter o devido destaque nesta fase.
Assim, é senso comum que a AMIS entre agora numa fase diferente, naturalmente a ser construída sobre os fundamentos já lançados. Estamos a cerca de 5 anos de 2015, e acreditamos que a intensificação das acções de visibilidade das necessidades prioritárias de Portugal e do Mundo deva receber uma ênfase ainda maior, dentro e fora do país, acompanhadas da necessária oração e, pela fé, das acções missionárias decorrentes.
Procuraremos usar de forma mais alargada os meios de comunicação disponíveis na internet, em português e depois em inglês; promover um amplo diálogo sobre temas relevantes para a expansão do Reino de Deus em e a partir de Portugal; incentivar o desenvolvimento e informar sobre oportunidades de formação específica para plantação de igrejas, de sua revitalização e crescimento, etc… A interacção e a sinergia são fundamentais. Participa!
O nosso apelo e oração é que todos possamos cooperar para Acender a Luz. Em Portugal e nas Nações, únicamente para a glória do Senhor da Igreja!

The Missions Task Force of the Portuguese Evangelical Alliance – AMIS/AEP – has been running the Missão Global 2015 project for over 5 years. An excellent job has been done in the areas of Vision and Strategy, Prayer and Research with the aim of reaching the goals laid out below:
Missão Global 2015 consists of mobilizing the Body of Christ in Portugal and beyond, in a determined cooperative effort, to seek to fulfill the Great Commission given to us by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20, at the same time respecting the individuality of each church and denomination involved.
In other words the overall goal of Missão Global 2015 is to encourage and support each denomination affiliated with the AEP to develop its own missionary goals and strategies, relevant to its particular context and reality, in as many different ways as are necessary.
The main aim is to take part together in the expansion of the Kingdom of God, not only in Portugal but also from Portugal into all nations.
Missão Global 2015 can be divided into 2 main areas: Portugal 2015 and World 2015.
Nationally, and with God’s blessing, AMIS will continue to serve the evangelical community to carry out the vision for Portugal 2015 of having: “a church accessible to all people, in the entire country, in this generation!”
Cross-culturally, and with God’s blessing, AMIS will continue to serve the evangelical community to carry out the vision for World 2015: “We want to see Portugal as a cross-cultural missionary force among unreached people groups!”
We should add that we can also reach out to Portuguese communities outside Portugal (the Portuguese in the World 2015) and different people groups in Portugal (the World in Portugal 2015). These are different ways of doing missions we are focusing on at the moment.
It makes sense for AMIS to start a new phase now, naturally still building on the foundation that has been laid. We are 5 years off 2015, and we believe that we need to raise even further the visibility of Portugal’s and the World’s greatest areas of need, inside and outside the country, along with crucially needed prayer and, by faith, the ongoing missionary endeavours.
We shall try to use the internet as a tool for communication even more widely, firstly in Portuguese and then in English. We will promote a wide-ranging dialogue on topics relevant to the expansion of the Kingdom of God in and from Portugal. We will encourage development and provide information on training opportunities specific to church planting, their renewal and growth, etc… Interaction and joining forces is of the utmost. Get involved!
Our cry and prayer is that we may all work together to Switch on the Light in Portugal and in the Nations, all for the glory of the Lord of the Church!
